STUDIO MASTER CLASSES For twenty- five years Alan Scofield has been nationally acclaimed as a teacher of his original workshop course, Musicality for Dancers. This course synthesizes classical technique with musical theory so that the dancer fully embodies the highest expression of the art. Alan is also available for master classes in Modern Jazz, Limon based Modern, Creative Movement for Children and Teacher Training. Scofield believes that each master class should serve the needs of its students, allowing for a dynamic and unforgettable growth experience. He will create a master class after reviewing the specialized needs of the class as expressed by the artistic director. Please contact Alan to ask how this might benefit your organization. |

CHOREOGRAPHER Alan Scofield’s professional background spans the world of performing arts from Ballet to Broadway, from Modern to Mime. His years in the west coast theater scene and in New York, gave him the edge to know what a production requires, what a stage needs and what an audience craves. Whether it’s concert or commercial, his product matches the need. He is currently a choreographer in residence at the College of Marin where he is a faculty member. Excerpts are available. |

PERFORMANCE COACH Alan Scofield has helped hundreds of performers find their creative power. Television performers, stage actors, dancers, and gymnastic competitors all discover what blocks and unlocks THEIR OWN unlimited peak performance. Scofield states: “It is not inspiration that makes great performances, for inspiration comes and goes. What makes a performer rise to the top is the power to exclude everything except the pure moment of being one with your material. This lifts the audience out of their seats and into your magic. It is the greatest power we have.” |
